The Saskatchewan Advantage Innovation Fund (SAIF) is a research and development (R&D) program designed to accelerate the commercialization of game-changing innovations in Saskatchewan’s core sectors, such as energy, mining, agriculture, and advanced manufacturing. SAIF provides strategic financial support for collaborative projects that drive economic growth and global competitiveness.
Eligible funding may include:
• Development and testing of innovative prototypes and systems
• Salaries and technical expertise for R&D execution
• Capital equipment, IP protection, and commercialization efforts
Applicants must demonstrate strong commercialization potential and alignment with Saskatchewan’s economic priorities.
