Livestock Facility Emission
The Livestock Facility Emissions Program supports intensive hog and sheep facilities in adopting technologies and practices that improve environmental outcomes. Eligible applicants can receive cost-shared funding for facility upgrades, emissions analysis, and energy system improvements. The program prioritizes greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions and energy efficiency.
Eligible funding may include:
• Installation of energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and lighting systems
• On-farm renewable energy infrastructure and smart energy controls
• Manure management systems that capture and reduce emissions
Funding is designed to help producers meet sustainability goals and invest in long-term environmental improvements.
