This program offers cost-shared funding to agricultural producers who implement practices that improve the environmental resiliency of their land. The focus is on enhancing natural ecosystems while maintaining productive agricultural operations.

Eligible funding may include:
• Projects that support improved land and grazing management
• Seeding of forage to restore or protect sensitive areas
• Tools and technologies that promote water protection or biodiversity

The program supports producers in building long-term environmental sustainability into their operations.

Eligible Purposes

Funding may be used to support the adoption of Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs) that strengthen ecosystem services, including:

• Livestock water protection, targeted grazing, and rangeland assessments
• Seeding of native or tame forage for soil and water conservation
• Sulphate water treatment and wintering site management

Other practices may be eligible if they align with the program’s goals of improving environmental resiliency on agricultural land.
