This program supports the growth and expansion of Manitoba’s agri-processing sector through capital investments that enhance efficiency, productivity, and environmental sustainability.
Eligible funding may include:
• Development and implementation of new processing technologies
• Quality control systems that support entry into new markets
• Equipment and infrastructure that streamline operations or enable co-packing services
These investments help agri-processing businesses scale their operations, improve profitability, and create new service and revenue opportunities.

Eligible Purposes
This funding stream supports the implementation of quality control systems that reduce microbial, chemical, or physical contamination risks. Eligible activities include:
• Purchase of quality control tools such as thermometers, moisture analyzers, pH meters, and similar equipment
• Software and PPE directly related to the management of quality control systems
• Professional services for development, calibration, commissioning, or training tied to new equipment
Additional items may be eligible if they contribute directly to the establishment or enhancement of quality control systems.
