The SLIM program supports agri-businesses in Saskatchewan by funding capital investments that boost efficiency, reduce emissions, and expand processing capacity. Eligible projects include automation, adoption of advanced manufacturing practices, and infrastructure upgrades aligned with environmental goals.
The program aims to strengthen Saskatchewan’s value-added processing sector by modernizing operations and enhancing competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.

• Equipment upgrades that increase productivity or enable new product lines
• Infrastructure that reduces greenhouse gas emissions
• Business analysis services to guide operational improvements
