This program supports producers in improving the efficiency of agricultural inputs to achieve measurable environmental benefits. Eligible projects reduce emissions, minimize chemical runoff, and promote the responsible use of natural resources. Priority is given to commercially available technologies that are already proven in Alberta farm settings.
Eligible funding may include:
• Smart farm tools like sensors, drones, and management software
• Energy-efficient equipment for heating, lighting, and grain drying
• Security systems to protect agricultural infrastructure and property
