New Entrant farm Business Accelerator

This program provides financial support to agricultural producers in British Columbia who are within their first five years of farm income reporting. Through NEFBA, new entrants can access funding to create a business growth strategy and invest in commercial infrastructure and equipment needed to accelerate revenue generation and long-term sustainability. The program aims to strengthen the viability of early-stage farm businesses and support their transition into stable, income-generating operations.

Eligible funding may include:
• Development of business plans and farm growth strategies
• Cost-shared purchase of farm equipment or infrastructure for scaling operations
• Investments that support improved productivity and financial performance

The program helps new farmers build strong business foundations and position themselves for long-term success.
