This program funds initiatives that expand access to healthy, affordable local food while promoting food literacy and community well-being. Projects may focus on education, meal programs, or infrastructure that supports local food use and knowledge-sharing.

Eligible funding may include:
• Food literacy workshops, education programs, or training for foodservice staff
• Community fridges, shared meals, or school lunch initiatives using local ingredients
• Garden installations, greenhouse projects, or materials for local food production

These initiatives are designed to improve health outcomes and strengthen community food systems across Prince Edward Island.
