Grape Industry Development Program
This program provides targeted assistance to New Brunswick vineyard operators aiming to establish new grapevines, increase vineyard productivity, or modernize their operations with new technologies.
Eligible funding may include:
• Purchase and planting of new or higher-yield grape varieties
• Specialized vineyard equipment to enhance productivity and quality
• Implementation of innovative vineyard technologies for improved operations
This initiative encourages long-term growth and competitiveness in the province’s grape production sector.

Eligible Purposes
This stream supports the establishment and modernization of vineyards. Eligible activities include:
• Up to $1,550/acre for grape plants and $3,150/acre for trellis systems (max $4,700/acre combined)
• Specialized equipment such as in-field drip irrigation, cultivators, harvest bins, totes, and field trailers
• Other innovative vineyard technologies with strong justification
Additional items may be eligible if they clearly support improved grape production efficiency and quality.
