Fraser Valley Flood Mitigation

This multi-year, $20 million program provides fully funded support for infrastructure and ecosystem projects that mitigate the impact of flooding in the Fraser Valley. Delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC (IAF), the program helps reduce direct costs for producers while promoting environmental co-benefits and strengthening relationships between Indigenous groups, local governments, and the agricultural sector.

Eligible funding may include:
• Infrastructure development and upgrades to reduce flood-related risks
• Riparian restoration and water quality improvement projects
• Collaborative initiatives between First Nations, communities, and producers

The program aims to build long-term resilience for Fraser Valley farms while supporting environmental health and inclusive partnerships.
