Food Processing Growth

This three-year, $20 million program is funded by the Government of British Columbia and delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation (IAF). It helps food processors invest in infrastructure, technology, and training to increase processing capacity and productivity. The program supports projects that enhance operational efficiency and increase the use of BC-grown agricultural products.

Eligible funding may include:
• Construction, equipment purchases, and facility upgrades
• Adoption of automation, robotics, and advanced digital systems
• Product development, lab testing, and specialized staff training

The program helps processors scale operations and strengthen BC’s local agri-food value chain.

Eligible Purposes

This funding stream supports facility improvements and system upgrades for BC food processors. Eligible activities include:

Other investments may be eligible if they support productivity and local input utilization.
