This program helps agricultural producers in New Brunswick take measurable steps to improve the environmental performance of their operations. It supports initiatives that conserve natural resources, reduce the environmental footprint of farming activities, and build climate resilience.

Eligible funding may include:

• Projects that protect soil, water, and air quality on farms
• Practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions or enhance carbon sequestration
• Adaptation tools or planning that help manage climate-related risks

Additional activities may be supported if they contribute to environmental sustainability or climate resilience.

Eligible Purposes

This stream supports training and strategic planning that strengthens farm business outcomes. Eligible activities include:

• Specialized training in management, marketing, HR, production, value-added, or technology
• One-on-one mentoring for new or existing producers to improve viability and profitability
• Professional services for benchmarking or financial tech adoption

Applications must demonstrate a direct benefit to farm business performance through skills or system upgrades.
