Agri-Land Accessibility and Enhancement
This program supports the development and improvement of farmland across New Brunswick. It helps bring previously used land back into active agricultural production, supports the creation of new fields, and enhances the productivity of existing farmland.
Eligible funding may include:
• Activities that support more sustainable farming practices with lower environmental impact
• Improvements that enable better crop rotation and long-term soil health
• Expansion of land base for food and livestock feed production
This program helps increase local self-sufficiency and reduce transportation-related costs and emissions by strengthening New Brunswick’s agricultural foundation.

Eligible Purposes
This funding stream supports the development and preparation of farmland for active agricultural use. Eligible activities include:
• Clearing non-merchantable trees, roots, brush, rocks, and other debris
• Land levelling, rock pile removal, hedge row and line fence removal
• Stump grinding, mulching, biomass disposal, and soil surface preparation
Additional expenses may be eligible if they support improved land access, soil quality, or productivity.
