Through targeted support for applied research, pilot projects, and field demonstrations, it helps accelerate the path from discovery to adoption. Alberta Innovates leverages its province-wide reach to advance innovations that generate jobs, improve health, and benefit the environment.
Eligible funding may include:
• Labour, equipment, and material costs directly tied to project delivery
• Contractor fees, software, and travel for trials or demonstrations
• Subcontractor support, professional services, and other pre-approved costs
The program empowers innovators to turn bold ideas into lasting impact for Alberta’s economy and communities.
