Youth Employment and Skills

The Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) supports youth across Canada in overcoming barriers to employment by funding projects that offer meaningful work placements and training.

Eligible funding may support:
• Employment and internship placements
• Job readiness training and mentorship
• Skills development in high-demand sectors

These activities help youth gain experience, confidence, and long-term employability.
