Resilient Agricultural Landscape

This program provides funding to support producers in adopting sustainable land use practices that improve ecosystem services and long-term farm resilience. Projects are funded over a three-year term and may be eligible for up to 100% reimbursement. Funding is available to both individual producers and agricultural associations to promote broad-scale impact.

Eligible funding may include:
• Pasture and cropland conversion projects that promote native forages and soil protection
• Riparian, shelterbelt, and wetland enhancements that improve biodiversity and water retention
• Intercropping and forage enhancements that increase productivity and sustainability

This program helps producers build more resilient landscapes while protecting natural resources.

Eligible Purposes

This funding stream supports land-based conservation practices that enhance environmental outcomes. Eligible activities include:

• Pasture management, rotational grazing, and riparian area enhancement
• Conversion of cropland to forage or implementation of grassed waterways
• Shelterbelts, eco-buffers, pollinator strips, and wetland restoration or creation

Other practices may be eligible if they contribute to ecosystem health and long-term land resilience.
