Provincial Agrifoods Assistance Program

This program helps both experienced producers and new farmers invest in land preparation and agricultural infrastructure. Funding is prioritized for projects that boost food production, secondary processing, and long-term growth in the province’s agriculture sector.

Eligible funding may support:
• Clearing and preparing land for agricultural use
• Building or upgrading storage, fencing, or irrigation systems
• Projects that expand food production or secondary processing

These activities help increase the local food supply and strengthen farm operations.

Up to $30,000 per acre, with overall amounts ranging from $20,000 to $75,000 depending on project type and eligibility

• Land clearing, drainage, and soil improvement
