This program encourages industry-led projects that build the competitiveness and sustainability of Canada’s agricultural sector. It funds initiatives that support knowledge sharing, improve farm management, raise awareness of agricultural careers and practices, and promote inclusion of underrepresented groups.
Eligible funding may support:
• Producer-oriented events like seminars and conferences
• National fairs and exhibitions that promote public trust
• Engagement with Indigenous and marginalized communities to enhance inclusivity
These activities help agri-businesses transition, adapt, and thrive through entrepreneurial capacity and leadership development.
